Leslie Ann Ross, PsyD

Leslie Ann Ross, PsyD, received her undergraduate degree from Antioch University in Los Angeles, California, and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. Dr. Ross has 12 years experience working in the field of traumatic stress providing clinical services to both adults and children, as well as ongoing participation in conducting research with victims of child physical and sexual abuse, war exposure, domestic violence, community violence, and the traumatic effects of exposure to extreme stress in international relief and aid workers around the world. She is currently the Research Coordinator for Children's Institute International, a partner in the National Child Traumatic Stress Network. As Research Coordinator, she oversees all of the day to day Child Trauma Center research activities at the agency, including collection, compilation, storage and analysis of data. Dr. Ross works with the Agency Trauma Center Team in developing investigative protocols for agency-wide implementation, and collaborative projects with other agencies providing services to trauma exposed populations, as well as preparing manuscripts for publication and professional presentation at national and international conferences pertaining to issues related to traumatic stress. In addition, she provides training for agency staff in assessment of the effects of trauma exposure on adults and children.
