FAQ > RESEARCH

I would like to find updated information about research in the field of my loved one's condition. Is there a way to read scientific articles online?

One of the best online resources to find updated research articles is PubMed, a service of the National Library of Medicine (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi). You can search for article by topic, author, or journal title.

Where would I go to find out about studies that are currently being done at UCLA? How can I find out if there are any upcoming conferences on a particular topic?

To find out about current studies at UCLA, you can go to UCLA's Neuropsychiatric Institute website located at www.npi.ucla.edu and click on Research Centers and Clinical Initiatives. To find out about upcoming conferences at UCLA, click on Education.
